Sharon Bryant, Professional Dog Groomer
Dogs have been a huge part of Sharon’s entire life and she feels lucky to have started working with them from the age of 13 when she worked at a boarding kennels. It was here that her passion for dogs grew and she was able too explore her career options, leading her to study dog grooming through a youth training scheme when she left school. She has since spent her career working as a professional dog groomer, previously elsewhere and now at Deluxe Dog Grooming, grooming dogs of all sizes to an exceptionally high standard.
Sharon has completed obedience training with her own dogs and, when not pampering your pooches, she enjoys walking and having fun with her own dogs.
Iulia Mihail, Dog Grooming Assistant & Canine Ultrasound Teeth Cleaner
Iulia’s passion for dogs started in Romania when she was a child. Around the age of 10, her father took her to her first dog show as he wanted to pass on his passion for breeding and showing Central Asian Shepherd Dogs and Newfoundlands. From that point on, she knew she wanted to work with dogs. Since then, Iulia has taken classes on dog show handling, won multiple 1st placements in Junior Handling competitions, made her own dog (a Chinese Crested Powderpuff) champion in 3 countries, and eventually became a professional dog show handler. In between school and dog shows Iulia volunteered in a vet clinic and a grooming salon, learning basic skills, and as soon as she finished high school, she moved to England, where she worked as a kennel hand and show handler in a Portuguese Podengo Kennel. With the help of the breeder, she made her way to Crufts 2022 where one of the dogs she was showing won Best of Breed, making one of her dreams come true. Now Iulia is onto a new chapter in her life, assisting with grooming at Deluxe Dog Grooming and carrying out canine teeth cleaning.
Gorgia (Gia) Lisi, Director
Gorgia is a fully qualified, registered and insured veterinary physiotherapist with her own business Deluxe Vet Physio, specialising in equine and canine rehabilitation and maintenance care. Being keen to offer additional high quality services to dog owners Gorgia founded Deluxe Dog Grooming to further cater for the requirements of owners and their dogs within the local area.
Gorgia has an enormous passion for all animals but a special kind of love for horses and dogs: which means she’s prone to silly voices and lots of kisses when meeting them (apologies in advance). In her spare time Gorgia enjoys spending time with her own dog and her horses which she regularly competes.
